Bigger visuals: swap tabletop props for stage-scale demos; add wide, high-contrast backdrops (12–24 ft W × 8–12 ft H) or pipe-and-drape to frame the action.
Sound reinforcement: wireless headset mic for the presenter + handheld for volunteers; stereo playback for music/sfx.
Lighting/projection: portable LED wash to brighten faces; optional screen/projection for titles and close-ups.
Blocking for sightlines: center-stage footprint kept clear; demonstrations raised on carts/risers so the back rows can see.
Pacing for large groups: call-and-response cues, bigger gestures, and “whole-audience” participation beats.
Safety: buffer zone 6 ft from the stage edge; no liquids or heat near the apron; clear load-in/out paths.
What we ask from the venue (ideal)
Stage space: ~12' × 16' clear (more is great).
Power: two separate 15A circuits near stage left/right.
House lights: ability to dim to 30–50% during the show.
Screen/projector (optional): 12' screen or in-house projector (5k–8k lumens).
Audience support: staff/teachers seated with students; 5–10 min before show for volunteer briefing.
